Large Ceramic Electric Kalimba with Wood Top and Bottom
This large, 17-key kalimba has deep, full bass and crystal clear high end. It sounds great acoustic or plugged in. The shell of the kalimba was thrown on the potter's wheel and then glazed. A birch wood top and bottom were added, along with the bridge. The keys were all hand made. The instrument was installed with a piezo pickup under the bridge and an input jack on the top of the instrument.
